Biddulph Town Council was created in 1974 to greater represent the people of Biddulph. 22 Councillors, representing 5 wards, are elected every 4 years to serve on the Council. The Mayor of Biddulph is appointed annually for a 12 month term.
Biddulph Town Council employees 8 members of staff: Sarah Haydon – Chief Officer; Jodie Hancock – Events & Partnership Officer; Esther Gladstone – Finance & Admin Officer; 2 Customer Support Advisors and 3 Caretakers, responsible for the smooth running of the Town Hall.

Biddulph Town Council is based in the Town Hall on the High Street in Biddulph and is available five days a week 9.00- 5.00pm.
