We want to understand the needs of people within our community.
Biddulph Town Council wants to make sure that over 50-year-olds have access to the right services and support, and that they can plan effectively for the years to come. If you are free one lunchtime then please join us.
There will be refreshments provided. We would love to chat face-to-face to complete the questionnaire. You can also talk to us about the upcoming Biddulph Referendum and any other Town Council issues.
We will be coming along with other services that may be able to help you. Biddulph Social Prescribers, Potteries Moneywise (PMW) can advise on financial matters and Residential Energy Services (RES) are all things home energy efficient.

PMW Potteries Moneywise (PMW) is a project within Citizens Advice North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Our project specialises in offering free and confidential financial, budgeting, and energy advice to individuals. We provide a broad spectrum of support, including grant applications, benefit checks, money management, and budgeting, amongst other things. The PMW team will be with us at the sessions.
RES specialises in targeting the energy efficiency needs of each individual household and maximising thermal performance, energy usage, and the smart management of energy costs for each homeowner. Under the Government funding model, private homeowners can be eligible for high-level energy upgrades, such as external wall insulation. the RES team will be with us for all sessions.
Social Prescribing can help us with things that can’t be fixed by Doctors or medicine alone. That might mean being introduced to a community group, a new activity, or a local club. It could be legal advice or volunteers to help around the house. It might be information and guidance: a bit of inside knowledge on your situation and what local resources are available. The Social Prescribers will be with us, Tuesday 5th Dec – The Barley Mow, Friday 8th Dec – The Staffordshire Knot, Wednesday 13th Dec – The Rose and Crown.
If you have any questions or need assistance with these events please do call us on 01782 498480.
We look forward to seeing you all.
